It’s mostly symbolic, and not something that will change, since the stopping of US dues to UNESCO was mandated by a Clinton-era Act of Congress. Only Congress could rescind such a law and Congress will not do so.

Thanks for the info. Ditto for the info earlier about Nazis—I tend to think of any member of the German military during that time as being one, but I guess that’s not really correct. I really need to learn more about WWI &WWII.
