Speaking of guitars:

This is the first electric I ever bought. It’s a 1979 The Paul by Gibson. It’s been lying dormant for years; I thought the crack in the neck had finally made it impossible for strings to stay in tune.

I pulled it out last month as I was getting my Strat fixed and figured I’d restring it, just to see what would happen. Lo and behold, the damn thing actually stays in tune. For some reason, the crack didn’t seem as bad as I remembered it.

The electronics need some TLC, but I’m dying to get this thing up and running again.
