That we’ve done gun registration stupidly in the past doesn’t mean there isn’t a smart way to go about it.

A lot of forms of gun control are a total waste, I agree— especially because criminals aren’t very inclined to follow laws. But it’s not a dichotomy; it doesn’t mean all gun control is foolish. At the very least, I think you’d agree that violent felons shouldn’t be allowed guns, right?

Not all violent and/or short tempered men have a criminal record, so how can you tell?
