I’ll say this - I’m sick of how the UN has remained relatively ineffective at preventing wars and genocide on the “regional” level e.g. Rwanda. This is mainly due to lingering Cold War politics (Russia/PRC/OIC “bloc”) on one hand and of course the infamous American unilateralism on the other.

I find their developments over Libya (and possibly the Ivory Coast?) hold great promise and I do hope to see more of the Unity that makes them the United Nations in the future.

And that’s all I got to say ‘bout that. :B

True. So NATO goes off prancing into Libya while the USA keeps on supporting the repressive regimes in Yemen and Bahrain. You do know that the USA is supporting the creeps in Bahrain right?
