Perhaps.. But they signed contracts…It may have been a dumb contract on the Corporation’s part.. Same with signing a Basketball Player to the max contract for 65 million dollars then the player never does anything again but eat and star on Cribs…Still got to pay him his money.. LOL
It’s either that or allow the Government to set the terms of private contracts in America…Is that what is considered fair and moral?

I’d consider it to be moral and fair if the corporations are collecting corporate welfare or took bailout money to keep from going under.
Once they pay back their welfare and bailout money and stop being a leech on society, then they can set whatever contracts they want. but if my money is invested into your company to save your ass, then I should have a say in what your company pays to the top executives.

Right now there is no moral hazard in our economic system. And that lack of moral hazard is being abused by the top executives and investors.
