I’m confused about the Impeachment process. Why aren’t the Democrats pulling together something to start it?

Also…that thing on the whitehouse website, petitions and the like, has anyone started a “Given , we think that Trump should stand down, or demand the Republicans start Impeachment Proceedings” thing?
