True, but Bezos went well beyond the usual.
In this 66-year-old consumer’s experience, it’s extraodinary.

That’s why I used the word “delight.” To those of us in the Customer Service biz, it’s a huge distinction from “satisfy.” Imagine what it would take to “delight” you. Bezos knows and did it to perfection. Customers will now ADMIRE Amazon for stepping up. That’s “delighting.” Turning a negative customer experience and creating Raving Fans.
