Heh. In one episode the cameras in the area were all busted (on purpose) so no footage. One of the characters made a comment something like, “Ah well, time for old fashioned boots on the ground investigating.” The other character got all mumbly and annoyed.

One wonders if all those cameras have made Brittons any safer. Crime is aparently up in the UK over the past 30 years.
