again, i agree that different sports require different traits. but there are a few guys like this in the NFL. unless iā€™m quite mistaken, there are no such equivalents in the AFL.

The average AFL ruckman is over 6ā€™6ā€, has to outjump people his height repeatedly, plays a roving midfield role for the full time, and also has to have multiple ball handling skills. Odds are he cannot outsprint Calvin Johnson, but apart from that, they are eminently comparable.

And, unlike every player in the NFL save a quarterback, he also has to make his own decisions, which automatically makes him a vast improvement over any NFL player.
