The kid was also mail. The Mark Foley scandal was about outing a gay GOPer more than anything. Just like the real reason the Craigslist Congressman resigned was because some of the women he solicited were transgendered and he knew it. Any whiff of gayness still means, at least certainly for GOPers, you’re out.

I was reading a bit about Foley last night. He said on the Hannity interview that he resigned immediately when his scandal came out. Implying that’s what Weiner should have done (and yes, that’s what Weiner should have done). But according to the Wiki, that’s not wholly true. He was forced to resign by the GOP… sorry “by request” of the GOP.
