I bookmarked it as one of my favourite web pages. I go to it all the time because it is such a sage piece of work.

Comedians can say things the rest of us can’t, which is why people in power hate them so much.

I thought it was just a fascinating look on how we use hate to justify our treatment of the “other” whether that person is gay, a different or no religion, different ethnic background, etc. When my kid brother was young, I always told him that the only real monsters were other people and that article confirms that.
