It will take a mass public shooting incident that turns into an OK-Corral gunfight with multiple gun-carrying citizens “responding” and shooting innocent passers-by before anyone considers even discussing unrestricted carry laws.

I’d say that’s the most likely scenario. Like with the “true conservative” BS, no matter how thoroughly a shooting debunks their talking points, they’ll go on screaming “MOAR GUNS!!!”.
