That couple deserves the mockery they’ve gotten. I’d heard of straight couples refusing ot marry on principle until SSM was legalized in their country but this is the first I ever heard of one threatening to divorce over it.

It’s like a kid threatening to hold his breath until he gets what he wants. It was a childish protest.

My first thought hearing about it was, go ahead, what do I care?
