Millennials and Boomers have a lot in common in terms of hedonistic self centered bullshit. The difference is Boomers really did have the world handed to them on a silver platter only to overwhelmingly chose to forget and then shit all over the ideals they espoused in their youth. Millennials on the other hand are in large part reacting to that betrayal of promise, the loss of heavily subsidized public education and the evolution from peace & love hippie rhetoric to callous old-fucker disregard for rising healthcare costs, return to cultural revanchism and cold war level militarism.
