I’ve instructed my daughter and my brother that I want a graveside service. Even though I’m a Christian, and I was reared in the Baptist Church, I don’t want a church service. I left my church when my dad passed in 2001 and haven’t been back. I do attend services at other churches, but I’m no longer tied to one church because I no longer have much, if any, respect for organized religious congregations.
