When I was in high school choir, we sang a lot of religious music as well as secular songs. No one complained. Maybe because a lot of those songs were in latin, but I think it was more because in the context of musical history, it’s hard to get around the fact that music was largely supported by The Church in certain eras of time as well as religion serving as an inspiration to many composers. Militant Darwinists certainly didn’t complain about us singing Te Deum:

I too sang religious songs in high school. I’m sure I was trying to make a point that escapes me now. I should have just said, creationists need to worry about their own children without ruining the rest.
