I just finished watching “Raise the Red Lantern”. Lovely, and terribly sad movie.

One of my favorite movies of all time…I love Gong Li movies in general, but “Raise the Red Lantern” is a masterpiece…I’ll have to throw that in my neflix queue and watch again it on my new big-fuckin-flat-screen TV my brother gave me this weekend. The audio score to that movie is haunting, in my opinion.
