It is so sad to see poor backwards Sothern states—I live in one—who tow the Republican line. Racism started it, abetted by Strom Thurmond when he became a Dixiecrat, then a Republican. And when a state has 2 GOP US SEnators, I know they are probably the worse off of all.

The GOP cares not a fig for the wellbeing of the vast majority of a state’s residents.

You think global generalizations about the GOP go over here better than ones about Democrats?
