again, i agree that different sports require different traits. but there are a few guys like this in the NFL. unless iām quite mistaken, there are no such equivalents in the AFL.
Fair enough - there will always be standouts.
I would put it this way - AFL is a sport for 800meter runners. The NFL is a sport for 100meter sprinters. Different builds are required/stamina levels - but the part that every AFL player is expected to play in the game and the non-existence of specials teams/offense/defence who play half the game each is the deciding factor for me.
All those guys run miles every game.
