And here I thought I was being optimistic for thinking the world will not end in WWIII.

Thinking that the world is just going to accept a forever war in Ukraine and resume business as usual with Russia is, in my mind, very pessimistic. Its not like Tibet, an extremely remote location rapidly taken by China many decades ago.
