I’m not expecting much from Obama’s speech tonight. He’ll never get any of his proposals by the GOP. I just hope the Republicans refrain from embarrassing outbursts.

The dumb confederates who aren’t boycotting it, anyway.

Of course he’s not going to get the proposals, shouldn’t stop him from making them — he could propose privatizing the entire government, criminalizing all abortions, imposing apocalyptic Christianity, and implementing the death penalty for homosexuality and race-mixin’; they’d still say no just because he proposed it.
