Nope. Sorry. Not buying it. Like so many vainglorious politicians and grifters, they’ll have to pry the microphone from their cold dead hands before they exit stage left.

Palin will not go quietly into the night. In fact, she’d probably turn it on the Establishment in the problem.

No, the GOP’s problem isn’t Palin. Or Jindal. Or Trump. Or Carson. Or Christie.

It’s all of them. They’re a party that’s looking to roll back rights across the board, slash and burn the safety net, and accelerate the accumulation of wealth in those that already have an abundance of it, all while infrastructure falls apart, people go hungry, and health care grinds along.

Indeed, the GOP and Tea Party followers simply don’t get what government does (after all, you’ll see signs at rallies calling on the politicians to protect Medicare or Social Security from socialist takeover - the ahistorical nature of the GOP and Tea Party comes home to roost).
