Billy Idol failed miserably with his one hour set at ACL yesterday. Stopped Rebel Yell a few times before successfully finishing it, way out of key. Still glad I saw him. Tame Impala was amazing. They are like a new age Beatles to my ears. Even if they are from Australia. Foo Fighters were fun. Can’t believe they’ve been around for 20 years. Dave Grohl isn’t in a cast anymore from breaking his leg, but he’s got one of those giant plastic contraptions. Left stage with crutches. Think what you want of their music, but that guy is bad ass.

Today is Alabama Shakes, and whoever else the fam wants to see. Not sure if I’ll stick around for Deadmau5.

I think my ideal concert of current bands would be Scale The Summit opening for the Foo Fighters. Rather different types of music though, doubt any promoters would go for that combo O_o
