I don’t think it’s even that Dark. I think what is meant by the “real woman” thing is that women like Palin and others undermine women with their policy/politics and in turn that makes them not at all on the side of their female peers. What woman would really root for unequal wages, no family leave, cuts in help for single mom families, defunding education and so on? Not someone who gives a shit about anyone but herself and her right wing political career. It’s not about biology, it’s about policy and their personal career enrichment.

Possible, but the line was still badly delivered and as a result handed Shapiro et al an attack line. The lesson (beyond Ben Shapiro being as ass) is that it is important to take care when you go negative, so as not to give the other side a ready avenue of counter-attack.
