Uh-oh, there’s trouble at Chez Fish. The bird feeder has developed a bit of a following. In addition to the typical sparrows and chickadees, there is a pair of cardinals, the occasional blue jay, and the previously mentioned grackle. Except what was just one grackle has now turned into no less than four; and they are, uhh, “aggressive” about it. A fight broke out a few minutes ago as two males postured at each other over their unwanted presence at the bird feeder. I didn’t get to see how that ended, as they took off in separate directions.
