As I will say for the umpteenth time, Fitz was put on the Plame case by the Illinois Congressional delegation in order to piss off Bush and make Bush fire him.

It was Denny Hastert, Dick Durbin, and others who wanted Fitz put on the Plame case because they were pissed off at George Ryan’s conviction. Put the blame for Plame and Libby where it belongs.

It didn’t work?
