When the world view is that the oppressive society they live in is the root cause of crime, arresting the miscreants is just another form and continuation of the oppression.

I guess I’m just not progressive enough to contort my mind into such a bass-ackwards mode of thinking. I also can’t imagine why some people would rather feel like powerless victims of forces greater than themselves than take control of whatever aspects of their life that they can.
