Actually the death toll is probably going to be around 140 or 150.

Combined with the heatwave that has killed 103 people in the last two weeks it will be the worst natural disaster in Australia since 1900.

Well, I pray for those fire fighters who must just about totally exhausted. And, yes, if the toll is lower, even 150, it is still too high. Especially as some of these have been deliberately lit.
