Why didn’t State & Justice -at the request of Dear Presidente- seek extradition of al-Megrahi for his trial back here in the States?

While it is highly unlikely the Scot’s would have ever turned Megrahi over to us, such a move would have almost certainly delayed his release until it was in a pine box.

The supposed distress & bluster that has come out of the WH over this situation is nothing but pure bullchit.
