That’s fair. As I’ve often said, those people know “REAGAN!!1”. The real Ronald W. Reagan is someone they’d hate. If you read to a wingnut Reagan’s speech wherein he made clear that his administration accepted Social Security and would not move against that program the wingnut would go into a paroxysm of rage. you’d have to cover your ears as the wingnut screamed “PURGE THE RINO!!!11”.

Given how they’ve already twisted Bible Jesus into fitting their desired views and goals why should anyone be surprised that a simple human like Reagan would get the same treatment?
