It’s the Frank Luntz approach — control the message through dishonest characterization and you win the argument with the public. Democrats have to fight back with similar weapons. We can’t allow them to persuade people that it’s too expensive to save life on the planet.

If by similar weapons you mean dishonest characterization, then no. What we have to do is highlight their bad faith arguments. When they argue opposite viewpoints on different days, ask them which they believe and hold them to it.
