Presumption of innocence means individuals. It sounds to me like “category of people” refers to a group as a whole (“he’s white, he wouldn’t have done this”). But I can’t find any context for this.

But given her well known animosity towards my Community, I believe everything proceeding the “blanket assumption” remark to be nothing but a thinly disguised attempt to cover her butt. As you can see after that paragraph, she clearly states male sex offenders only transition so they can be sent to a woman’s prison, therefore all Trans-women are sex offenders. Least why, that’s my take.
