Nothing really. It was the same problem during the Clinton administration when we complained about the Palestinian school texts which rewrote the entire history and completely wrote Israel off the map. The money for their schools were given through UNRWA. Clinton put pressure on the UN to do something about the funding, but not much happened. I don’t think Bush even tackled it.

After Arafat’s death, it was made public that he embezzled most of those funds. The UN knew. The U.S. knew. So did Israel. We’d all been barking about it for decades to no avail.
