Ask that question on the evening of the 23rd. Lawhawk. If the Republican Party in Virginia decides to go with a primary this time around, that will be evidence (though not proof) of a desire to rebrand. If they go with a convention like last year, then they’ve shown they just want to whirl teabags around.

He’s an elected official in Virginia. He’s run and won seats in the state legislature. He’s now seeking a seat in Congress on essentially the same platform of extremism.

His extremist statements are beyond the pale.

It wont matter whether it’s a caucus or primary system, because he may well get the party nod either way.

What it does say is that the GOP in VA has no problem giving extremists like this a platform from which to launch tirades such as these.
