((hugs)) I am sorry you had to go through that. I’m a survivor too. I like to hope that I broke the cycle with my kids. My daughter has kids, she’s pretty patient, but I am pretty sure she has spanked, but not beyond a swat. My son has not had kids yet, he’s such a gentle soul I can’t imagine he’d ever hit anyone unless it was self defense. It’s the best we can do, to stop the violence with us. My family history is littered with abuse of all kinds, I hope my generation ended it. It’s not a legacy that should be passed down.
