There’s a great comment in that article I cannot get to. Their comments page won’t load, so I can only see part of it:

I don’t understand why this makes conservatives angry. It’s a private business owner doing what he wants with his company’s money, no government coercion or any other kind of role involved.

It’s because it destroys the Republican narrative, that’s why it makes them angry. Once you cram the JOB CREATORS!!!11!! bullshit down every American’s throats, that they deserve everything while the people doing the work should be happy with whatever scraps they’ve been thrown, this is the exact narrative they need to destroy. Because both narratives can NOT exist.
