We’ve had disgruntled workers shoot up their former workplaces before. Blowing one up is definitely unusual, but plausible.

Almost 40 years ago, back when I was working for a small local actuarial firm, an employee of one of our clients who feared he was going to lose his job shot and killed both the president and the comptroller of the firm. It was an unbelievable shock to all of us.
