I’ve brought this up a couple of times, of the DNC’s foolishness in holding their convention so late.

There is nothing to prevent the DNC from nominating Biden >before* that date, other than the DNC’s own arrogance.

Yes, I say arrogance.

The whole deal about the Chicago convention is to play to one particular segment of the Democratic Party’s base.

Which is fine - parties have to do that - but to do so in light of now more than one state pointing out that the DNC’s nomination will be too late to get Biden on the ballot.

This is not Republican f*ckery as much as just general American foolishness regarding elections.

There is legitimacy to the criticisms (usually by the extreme leftwing of the party) that the DNC establishment feels entitled to their ways and their position.

My guy…this is absolutely 100% Republican fuckery.
