I mean, you “work” on a story for 3 mos and all of a sudden, new revelations by the govt put it on hold?

What’s wrong with your “investigative” techniques anyway? Or do you just not have any?

GG clearly has no experience with deadline journalism. No matter what “revelations” the government may have, if you’ve got a story ready to run, you publish it before anyone else can. Then if the new info requires a follow-up, you write a follow-up.

I thought the new editor guy from the Rocky Mtn News was supposed to shape these people up. Apparently, he’s not succeeded yet.
