During the class trip earlier this week, I had to explain to a disbelieving Chinese student that workers in America get two days off every week PLUS two weeks’ vacation and most national holidays. Most Chinese workers get one day off a week and one week for Spring Festival, plus the national holidays like May 1 and Oct. 1 (National Day).

And all of the benefits people enjoy today in the US came from union victories.

Did you tell them also that people in the US are also cutting their own throats in not demanding unions? We can revert and have been in the process for years.
