Since Bentley billed himself as a “Man of God,” a Sunday school teacher and a deacon, and a true believer in “traditional marriage between one man and one woman” when he first ran for governor, one would think he knew that it was wrong to cheat on the wife he’d been married to for 50 years. He knew. He did it anyway and now he’s still refusing to accept full responsibility for his actions and has decided to play the “I’m hoping God forgives me card.” Cowardly hypocrite.

I keep telling myself I’m going to write a novel someday where the Rapture happens, and all the fundamentalist Christians and Republicans get left behind. So they all throw their lots in with the Antichrist, because he promises he’ll let them get revenge on God for betraying them…
