No, I’d hate because 2-3 terms of the Democrats in power that solidly is not something I think would be a good thing. In fact, I think that America would go bankrupt before conservatism could mount that big a turnaround. Canada’s Liberals, to their credit, did reign in their nation’s overspending in the mid-1990’s, but I’m not sure today’s US Democrats could do such a thing. It would be an exceedingly painful adjustment, to be sure.
