They’d do well to listen to you—you’re wise beyond your years. I didn’t realize until you mentioned your birth year the other night that you’re a couple of years younger than my son. Made me feel positively ancient.

In high school, the running joke was I was 14 going on 40. (This came from a friend’s mom.)

We all laughed when I ended up with a guy 17 years older than me. :) But age is just a number - experiences and what we learn from them are what matters the most.
