Far fewer than half of Americans die in the state of their birth. Time to put the whole divisive, anti-American concept to sleep.

I have nothing against having pride in one’s birthplace. It’s part of the same function as patriotism (pride in one’s country). Some roots run deep. However, many people take this to an almost fanatical obsession that their chosen place is superior to all others, and how DARE anyone criticize any aspect of their home. And that’s just stupid.
