I “met” Alice on the twitter during the huge winter storm in Michigan last year when MrBWS was on storm up there for more than 2 weeks.
She and her husband (a dean at MSU’s medical school) and others were very helpful when MrBWS had a medical problem arise while he was restoring power in Lansing and East Lansing. We’ve been friends ever since.
