Good on the young ladies for suggesting the tickets go to a family charity. Maybe they killed off a cliche with that kind act.

But I will never understand the concept of the selfie and that is has become what it has.

Most sororities that I am familiar with actually do place an emphasis on community service and giving back.

As for the selfies, I just see it as an extension of the fact that people like to get photographs of themselves - and it’s not always convenient to ask a stranger to do it. Not something I do, but eh, no skin off my back.

Besides, I’d definitely be ignoring the baseball game too.
