I understand and agree with a lot of you’re saying. These are different situations I concede but I also feel the Democratic Party cannot ignore that Sanders has done pretty well. They don’t necessarily have to offer him anything I feel but a branch to the party’s left would be okay with me. But in the end, I agree with you that Bernie has alienated a lot of people. I know he has me. I went from liking the idea of voting for him to where I am now where I hope he just fades away or does a total 180 on his approach.

I know you know this, so I don’t mean it as condescension, but Bernie Sanders is not the Democratic Party’s left.

His base of support, if anything, is independent third-way sorts of folks.
