I agreed to do a last-minute volunteering at church this morning, then after I get home, we’re supposed to play D&D with my friends. I say “supposed to” because, while it’ll probably still happen, one of those friends has a history of being a drama queen at the worst possible times, which strongly demotivates me from wanting to play. And of course, now is one of those times.

“Roll D20 for histrionics.”

“Don’t you tell me what to do!!!”

“16, nice. Now critical flounce? Two D6s, ten or higher.”
