“I consider him and Alan Dershowitz” - the two men Mr. Greenwald, 47, will face at Friday’s Munk Debates - “two of the most pernicious human beings on the planet. I find them morally offensive. There’s an element of hypocrisy to being in the same room with them, treating them as if I have outward respect, because I don’t.”

Why does that sound like a promo for a professional wrestling event? Does Greenwald ever break keyfabe? Or worse yet, is it possible that he actually believes the spew that emits from his mouth-hole each day?

I would like to say that he “CAN’T” be that stupid, but I’ve learned a long time ago that is a challenge that should never be made.

Be interesting to see how this plays out, I’m predicting a “Gish Gallop” by Greenwald, and when Dershowitz and Hayden can’t possibly get to cover all the points that GG shotguns at them, GG crowns himself the winner.

I’d like to think I’m wrong, but deep in my heart I know that’s how it’s going to play.
