My general comments re polling for years: polls have become increasingly unreliable. You cannot reach most people: they don’t have landlines or they don’t answer calls from unfamiliar numbers, they don’t answer their door, they throw out mail. Take every poll with a grain of salt; wait, no, take every poll with a pound of salt.

In this year, especially, it’s also unclear who can or will be voting; millions may be evicted, and in some states, that can happen sooner than later. Homeless people generally don’t have valid voting registration. Under DeJoy, the USPS will be deliberately sabotaging voting, possibly targeting mail from area codes that are more Democratic. There is no villainy that this administration and the GOP are incapable of committing.

And re the whole notion of mail-in ballot fraud: Remember that is exactly the crime of North Carolina Republican campaign for House candidate Mark Harris. Remember: any accusation that Trump flings against an opponent represents a crime that he or an ally has or is planning on committing.
